The Gomukh–Tapovan Trek is a breathtaking Himalayan adventure in Uttarakhand, taking trekkers through the source of the Ganges River, high-altitude glacial meadows, and spectacular mountain landscapes. Starting from Gangotri, the trek leads to Gomukh, the snout of the Gangotri Glacier, and continues to Tapovan, a high-altitude meadow at approximately 4,600 meters (15,100 ft), offering panoramic views of the Bhagirathi peaks, Shivling, and Meru.
This trek combines adventure, natural beauty, and spiritual significance. Tapovan is not only a paradise for trekkers and photographers but also a serene place that inspires a deep sense of connection with nature.
