Trek Overview

The Nag Tibba Trek is a scenic and accessible trek located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, offering an ideal introduction to trekking in the lower Himalayas. At an altitude of 3,022 meters (9,915 feet), Nag Tibba, which translates to “Serpent’s Peak,” is the highest peak in the lower Himalayan range of the Garhwal division. Surrounded by dense oak and rhododendron forests, and offering panoramic views of towering peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath, and Gangotri, this trek is perfect for beginners and weekend adventurers.

According to local legend, this place is considered sacred by villagers who believe that Nag Devta (the Serpent God) resides at the summit, protecting their cattle and lands. This short yet rewarding trek offers a wonderful blend of spiritual significance, natural beauty, and Himalayan adventure.

Make My Hikes offers a well-organized Nag Tibba Trek experience with professional guides, making it a perfect option for all age groups, including families, solo travelers, and beginners.
